Our presentation is designed to assist any professional in the formation or expansion of his or her private practice. Whether a solo practice or group practice, we want you to learn about tips related to business planning and marketing, services to clientele and opportunities for other services in the practice including supervision to other professionals. 

Bio: 
Meredith began her career in the treatment of eating disorders in 2007 working at a RTC and moved back to Houston to open a private practice in 2009. Throughout the next few years, Meredith obtained her CEDS designation, supervisory license in Texas and became an iaedp Approved Supervisor. In 2015, Meredith began expanding her practice by hiring other therapists, providing supervision and teaming with Jill Sechi, RD, CEDRD to open A Collaborative Approach. Meredith has given multiple community presentations on education about eating disorders to other professionals as well as the treatment of eating disorders with Cognitive Behavior Therapy. 

Bio: 
Jill has been practicing dietetics since 1996. During her career she has worked in various aspects on nutrition therapy including critical care focusing on adults, pediatrics and neonatology, weight management, bariatrics and eating disorders. For the last 10 years her focus has been devoted to eating disorders. She has worked in medical weight management, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program treating eating disorders and private practice. She currently runs the largest private practice in Houston and has recently joined forces with Meredith Cook to form A Collaborative Approach. She currently has three private practice locations.
