Program Description:
This dynamic and engaging program will address the cultural factors and challenges in the treatment of eating disorders facing individuals in historically underrepresented communities. Our presenters will dive into numerous issues surrounding eating disorders specific to racial and ethnic minorities and the LGBTQ+ community. The complexities of intersectionality among these communities will also be addressed.
