Eating Disorders and Borderline Personality Disorder presented by Melissa O’Neill, LCSW is the Director of Clinical Operations at Timberline Knolls
We now know that along with accompanying mood disorders, adults with borderline personality disorder (BPD) are more likely to develop a co-occurring eating disorder. Understanding and addressing this complex comorbidity can make treating these clients less overwhelming. In this workshop, we’ll explore how personal biases toward clients with co-occurring ED and BPD can affect diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. Through experiential exercises and case studies, learn a range of evidenced-based practices for treating this complex diagnosis.
